About Our Fair

The Central Nebraska Science and Engineering Fair features students from junior and senior high schools found in counties located along and West of Highway 281 in Nebraska. This fair has been held since 1975, most recently being hosted at the Nebraska College of Technical Agriculture in Curtis, Nebraska. This year, the Biology Department of the University of Nebraska Kearney is hosting this fair.

Various awards recognizing outstanding research will be given at our fair from various private and governmental organizations.

This science fair is an affiliate of the Regeneron International Science and Engineering Fair. The top high school project from this fair will have the opportunity to attend the International Science and Engineering Fair, which will be held virtually for 2021.
