About Our Fair
The Central Nebraska Science and Engineering Fair features students from junior and senior high schools found in counties located along and west of Highway 281 in Nebraska. Geographically our territory is over 50,000 square miles. This fair has been held since 1975, most recently being hosted at the Nebraska College of Technical Agriculture in Curtis, Nebraska.
This year, our fair will be hosted virtually beginning on February 24, 2021.
We will return to the University of Nebraska at Kearney on March 02, 2022.
Various awards recognizing outstanding research will be given at our fair from various private and governmental organizations.
This science fair is an affiliate of the Regeneron International Science and Engineering Fair. The THREE top high school projects from this fair will have the opportunity to attend the International Science and Engineering Fair, which will be held virtually in 2021.
